Lessons from God, while in Florida!

It is incredible how much God chooses to teach His children while they are in stressful and uncomfortable positions… My situation is no different. I have been in Florida since March 27th, a little over six months ago, and I can not believe how much the Lord has done. Here are a few brief lessons I have learned while away…

          1. God is always there for His children. No He does not do thinks for us, but He teaches us how to do them and furnishes us with everything we need in order to succeed in life. This is a huge truth! When we pray for something does God just give that thing to us or does He give us the opportunity to work for that thing? I believe we have to work for everything good, except for our salvation.

          2. Serving others is far more important than serving ourselves. Since I have been here I have learned that the small things we do to bless others, adds up. Doing something as simple as smiling and making conversation with a cashier at Walmart is a blessing to them that God will use to show Himself. I encourage you all to start working in the small things as much as you think about working in the big things.

          3. Family and friends are a gift that we are not supposed to take for granted or take lightly. Give the glory to God for everything and everyone He puts in your life.

          4. The Bible contains a balanced message that speaks of grace and standards for living. Both enhance each other and never contradict one another, and both are meant to bless us in a different and full way.

          5. Hard work ALWAYS pays off. God blesses diligence and desires that we do everything for His glory.

These are but a few of the lessons I have learned during my wilderness experience. I am stoked for the opportunity to serve God in a ministry capacity when I get home, and Lord willing He will use me boldly for His purposes.

Thank you all for your prayers and your encouragement over the past six months. I look forward to serving you all in the future as I resume normal life!

  2. So true. If you had learned only the first two, your entire time would have been worth it. Yet, much like every other blessing that the Father bestows, there has been an abundance given you. Remember these lessons well, and you will have a life filled with joy and peace. Congrats bro!

  3. Hello Mr.Tim Kurek,

Maybe you have no capacity to ministry? Maybe I will test you, if you are true.

What is the meaning of “women” mention in Revelation 12:1?
What is the meaning of “sun” mention in Revelation 12:1?
What is the meaning of “moon” mention in Revelation 12:1?
What is the meaning of “twelve stars” mention in Revelation 12:1?

The true messenger that chosen GOD to ministry his Church is written in Daniel 12:9-10.

Daniel 12:9-10 “And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.”

If you answer my questions above, you are the one who choose by God….

If not, you are the one of those wicked one mention in Daniel 12:10.

  4. Why seek you an answer from men? Why not inquire of the Holy Spirit? And for what purpose do you send this comment? It serves no purpose of edification. I am very concerned that your focus is not where it should be, and am offended you have chosen to respond to my blog with a challenge instead of some original thought. Jesus died for our sins, and we need to spend our time edifying the brotherhood, not challenging people in such an impersonal and ridiculous way. Call me what you will, the Holy Spirit knows my heart and that is all that I am concerned with.

Most people think that the woman is Israel, but dispensationalists see the woman as the body of Christ. The stars are believed to be the 12 tribes of Israel. Also most believe that the Moon is a reflection of the perfect light of the Sun in its absence and becomes superfluous once the Sun has risen. The Sun types the Word or Light of God; Jesus is the Light of the World made flesh. The Moon types the Law, reflecting good things to come.

Please stop writing challenges and start edifying. I am a 21 year old college pastor that is learning daily. Let Brother Eli do the talking and please stop picking fights. It is laughable…

    Your Brother,
    Timothy…
